I. Introduction With the continuous improvement of the degree of modern industrial automation, the requirements for motion control devices are also getting higher and higher. Synchronous belt linear modules, with their advantages of high precision, high efficiency and reliability, have become the solution for achieving precise linear motion in many fields. Therefore, in-depth research on synchronous belt linear modules has significant practical significance. Ii. Basic Principles Synchronous belt linear modules mainly achieve linear motion based on the principle of synchronous belt transmission. Synchronous belts are composed of a closed annular belt and pulleys. The belt has a tooth structure distributed at equal intervals, and the pulleys match the tooth shape of the belt. When in operation, the motor drives the pulley to rotate. Through the meshing of the teeth of the belt and the pulley, power is transmitted to the synchronous belt, thereby driving the load connected to the belt to move precisely along the preset linear track. Iii. Structural Composition Synchronous belt Synchronous belts are the core component of transmission systems and are often made of materials such as rubber or polyurethane. They feature high elasticity, wear resistance, and oil resistance. Among them, rubber synchronous belts are suitable for general industrial environments and have a relatively low cost. Polyurethane synchronous belts perform better in terms of precision, wear resistance and tear resistance, and are often used in applications with high precision requirements. The tooth profiles of synchronous belts mainly include trapezoidal teeth and arc teeth. Trapezoidal tooth synchronous belts have a strong load-carrying capacity, but their transmission accuracy is relatively low. Arc tooth synchronous belts have high transmission accuracy and can maintain stability at high speeds, but they are relatively expensive. 2. Pulley The pulleys are divided into driving pulleys and driven pulleys, which are respectively connected to the motor shaft and the guide rails of the linear module. The tooth profile of the pulley matches that of the synchronous belt, and its diameter determines the transmission ratio. The active pulley is usually the driving pulley, which is driven to rotate by the motor. The driven pulley follows the rotation of the driving pulley and drives the load to move through the belt. 3.
